The Sun
|
This story will gladden the hearts of the working class Tories who hang on every word of the right wing bollocks dished out daily by the 'nations favourite'.
C&P
The Sun will scrap the paywall on its website just over two years after it was introduced.
Rebekah Brooks (Camerons friend and top arsehole licker), chief executive of Sun owner News UK, told staff in an email it would make its online stories "largely free" by the end of November.
She said the plan would add readers.
The Sun first started charging customers £2 a week in August 2013. Other newspapers charging for access include News UK's Times newspapers and the Financial Times.
Ms Brooks rejoined Rupert Murdoch's News UK in September a year after she was cleared of conspiracy to hack voicemails, conspiracy to pay public officials and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
She said in the email: "As of November 1, Sun+ customers will no longer be billed for reading The Sun's digital content and we will be transitioning to a largely free world by the end of the month."

A8, did they also print that the dead boy on the Turkish beach was 'obviously fiction'?
No, I read that on here, written by you.

Chelmsford I like the fact you're principled. I won't have the mirror anywhere near me after it raid Cameron's bins and had a go at him for using non degradable nappies for his children and calling him a hypocrite when they were for Ivan his disabled son because they were the only ones that could fit him. That and the Iraqi photo scandal did it for me.

Assuming that there is an online version of "Page 3", one also assumes that it is a subscription "service", given the fact there appears to be no direct link to it from the home page.
A sad day for democracy, indeed.

Given the amount of news websites on the web who would be stupid enough to pay (or even register) for any specific site?

Stewie, who says it wasn't a problem when the scumbag Murdoch was endorsing labour. I won't have the paper in my house, the same goes for the times. That stance didn't change just because Murdoch swaps what party he supports.
Murdoch is scum and the sun is everything's thats wrong with the British press.

Interesting.
Compare The Daily Mail vs the Mail online. Totally different. Reactionary bollocks vs celeb twaddle. But, to be fair, they seem to have made it work. For a "brand".
The Sun fucked up by thinking their class of audience were ever going to pay a fee.
Anyway, "Newspapers" are not news anymore. We've heard/seen watched it all before they can be in the shops.
What's the last paper you bought because of its "news"?
Who was the last columnist you looked forward to reading in a newspaper?

If you follow right leaning publications for world and local news you are a right fucking mug. Papers like the Sun do not report news, they editorialize. They tell you what to think, they don't give you the plain facts and leave it to you to think. As for the Tory party they are all a bunch of sleazy cunts who are lining their own pockets and building their futures on the backs of all the poor sods that believe in them!
As for fucking idiots like the OP R Winstone you are an even bigger tosser for thinking that Corbyn and his mob are going to to any different or any better than the fucking Torys. The sooner people like Winstone and A8 wake the fuck up the better!
Fucking laughable if it wasn't so sad.

Why are socialists like Ray so bitter all the time? Labour lost because the people don't trust socialists to spend their taxes.
